I was 8 years old when I saved my allowances and purchased a new Black & White Zip instant camera. I took photos all over and of everyone. I put most of my earnings toward the film packs. It was not much later Polaroid came out with the first color Polaroid SX-70 camera that I could afford. Color it was! I used this camera for years. I continually read books about photography and soon enough I had my sights on a 35mm camera.
A Pentax SLR was my first 35mm camera. I again saved and saved to make this big purchase in the late 70's. I took a course on handling the camera, the film and the basics. In high school I ran the darkroom and labs and learned everything I could.
I attended a small NH college where I could specialize in Photography - I could not believe I could study my passion! I received a intense education in every aspect of the art and most importantly the science of Photography. After receiving my Associates Degree in Arts I then received my Bachelors of Science Degree, also concentrating on photography.
All through my education and then career in the field I have enjoyed Photographing families, children and weddings. I invite my customers to choose a area they have a connection to, and have the photo session where they feel most comfortable and happy.
Now as a Mom of 2 children, I have continued my passion and business and invite you to call for an appointment for your family's portrait.
